Xerox has launched a streamlined channel partner program for IT solution providers that rewards partner loyalty. The enhancements are a key component of Xerox’s strategy to target IT solution providers through a program that’s simple to understand, promotes growth and offers robust sales incentives.

Xerox and Electronics For Imaging (EFI) today demonstrated a new Fiery®digital front end (DFE) that will give print providers a powerful new tool to manage high value jobs that require special embellishments and effects using dry inks including silver, gold and clear.

Keypoint Intelligence-InfoTrends projects that digital print enhancement volume will grow at a 27 percent compound annual growth rate through 2020, providing print operations with new business that promises both growth and profit1.

Xerox® today introduced a smart portable scanner that captures, stores and organizes up to 1,000 pages a day. It has advanced features such as algorithms that correct visual clarity and optical character recognition (OCR) that reads documents accurately in 179 languages.

Xerox MFPs Receive Security Certification

Xerox’s AltaLink multifunction printers have become the first MFPs to be certified against the new Common Criteria Classification by the National Information Assurance Partnership.

The new protection profile for hardcopy devices is based on security requirements that have been specified by government agencies in both the United States and Japan. It is intended to protect information processed by MFPs from security threats, and includes stringent cryptography and authentication requirements.

The Xerox Personalized Application Builder Forum drew 50 high-potential partners from across the globe, and the collaborative format included perspectives from their peers and Xerox. Attendees learned about the value of developing and selling apps, and how those apps can turn multifunction printers (MFPs) into smart, connected workplace assistants.

OKI Data Americas, a world-class printing technology leader, today announced that its ColorPainter M-64s wide-format printer was awarded the Outstanding “Enhanced” CMYK Eco-solvent/Latex 54”/64” Printer Pick Award by Keypoint Intelligence’s Buyers Lab (BLI). Competing against printers in Europe and the USA, the award is the result of months of hands-on evaluations performed by expert teams of analysts and lab technicians at BLI.
