PacPrint13in Melbourne proved very successful for Canon Professional Print and many key customers were delighted to accept an invitation to visit an exceptional production facility in Port Melbourne.

Spread over the four days of the exhibition, in excess of fifty customers attended the site at OnDemand to witness the Océ ColorStream 3700 in operation.The significant focus during these sessions was the “lean & green” print manufacturing of the No. 1 selling inkjet system in the world today.Canon Professional Print demonstrated the unique features of the CS3700, like printing from start upand stopping the production without paper waste and many other incomparable features.

The Océ ColorStream family of inkjet digital web printers has the lowest carbon footprint in its class, with less power expended in printing and stand-by along with significantly less energy consumed.

The owner of OnDemand, Bruce Peddlesden, was available each day and shared his business philosophy with the selected visitors. The Océ ColorStream has been instrumental in gaining new business for OnDemandthrough a range of vertical market opportunities. Bruce confirmed the reliability of the ColorStream to support his growing business at 98% uptime combined with its excellent print quality.

In conversation with visitors many comments were expressed “… a wonderful experience…”; “… I had heard about many of the printers features, seeing it in production has confirmed everything I had heard…” and another, “… I am so pleased I accepted the invitation, this is the future of printing…”
